I left my heart in San Francisco

At least I nearly left my heart there. Having never been to the west coast ever before, I was pretty pumped to head to San Fran and visit my friend Brittany from college. I had a leisurely 5 days where I got to explore and see so much of the city - between seeing Florence + the machine, wine tasting in Napa Valley, stumbling upon a bluegrass festival in golden gate park, the gorgeous weather every day... (ok I'll stop now) I had an absolutely amazing time. Needless to say, I loved it & want to go back (maybe live there someday?!), but I will let the photos speak for themselves & will try not to rub it in too much :)

dreaming of paris

I came across this video a little while back via Lauren Conrad's website (take a look here) and soon discovered that these "live the language" videos highlighted many cities throughout the world, but I just became so smitten with this Paris one. The colors of the flowers and macaroons, the bustling market she visits, it made me ache to go back to Paris, and Europe in general. One day I will make it back over there! But for now, I can immerse myself in this video and daydream.
