once again, time has slipped away from me and I have neglected this blog for far too long! march is here, & I have many exciting things to look forward to this month (a mini family reunion in new york, a birthday to celebrate, among other things...) but in the meantime, I've posted some photos below to summarize what I have been up to lately...

oh, hello there, february.

how is it that we are a month into 2012 already? They always say time goes by fast, but it still seems to boggle my mind at just how quickly it all goes. Rather than thinking about time slipping away, I'm instead going to focus on the now, and think about all the things that make me happy it's february.

Jason Wu for Target, finally debuting on february 5. I mean come on, how cute/chic/fun are his clothes?! I have a feeling it may crash their site again like Missoni did, but here's hoping I can get my hands on at least one of these darling pieces!

Valentine's Day (duh). Whether you have a Valentine or not, I still tend to enjoy this holiday. In the dreary winter it's nice to see pops of pink and red in store windows and I will always have a soft spot for the cheesy little-kid Valentine's that you used to pass around in elementary school. (You choo-choo choose me?)

my mom's birthday - no explanation needed, who doesn't love celebrating/an excuse to have some cake?

a trip to NYC on february 24. I'll be heading to a concert & it's an excuse to see many of my Marist loves that I get to see much too little of.
